Standing Order

What is my standing order?

Your standing order is your permanent order that you want delivered each week without your intervention required.

How do I modify my standing order?

To modify the quantity of a product or box that you have in your order, change the number in the listing of your standing order at the top of the standing order page.
To remove an item from your order, change the number to 0.
To add new items, scroll down to the bottom half of the standing order page and specify the number of products you want added to your order.
Can't see what you want? Move your mouse over list of categories on the left and choose a category from the cascading lists that will appear.
Click either Update Order button when you are done.
Your new standing order will be listed on the standing order page.
Changes to your Standing Order will alter orders on or after Tuesday 14 September 2010.

Will changing my Standing Order affect my Current Order?

The current customizing of your box will remain unless you switch box sizes. If you have eliminated a Standing Order item from your Current Order it will not be added back in. If you add products to your Standing Order they will be added on to the Current Order.

Do I have to have a standing order?

No, you can come in each week and order as needed.

What is my current order?

Your current order is the specific items that you want delivered on a given date. If you do not alter it, it will be as specified in your standing order. Changing your current order will not change your standing order.

When will my current order be delivered?

When can I modify my current order?

You can modify your orders until Monday 12:00 noon.

How do I modify my current order?

What is a Preference?

What does Never Sends mean?

This indicates you NEVER want this category or product included in your box. If you do not have a chance to come in and make a substitution in your box, the Grindstone Farm personnel will make it for you.

Do I have to list all my preferences?

No, just let us know a few items you always like in case we have to make substitutions on your behalf.

How can I modify my list of preferences?

At the top of the page, there is a list of categories, and a list of specific products for which you specified a preference. What you choose for a specific product will overrule what you choose for categories that contain it. If you choose a preference for a specific product that is the same as the preference for the containing category, the specific product preference will no longer be listed.
You may add things to your preference list by choosing a product or category from the bottom of the preferences page and choosing your preference adjacent to it.
You can remove a Category or Product preference by choosing the remove option. If a product is assigned the same preference of the containing category, which is the value it would have in any case, the preference is also removed.
Can't see what you want? Move your mouse over the list of categories on the left and choose a category from the cascading lists that will appear. It's sub-categories and products will replace the current list.
Each time you change a preference for a Category or Product, and click the update button, the list at the top of the page will be refreshed.

If you do not have a chance to come in and look at your order, the Grindstone Farm personnel will make appropriate substitutions for your Never Sends.

What do I do if I want Never want Potatoes (Category) except for Russets potatoes (Product in category)?

What you choose for a specific product will overrule what you choose for categories that contain it. Choose Never Sends for the category Potatoes and then choose anything you wish Product Russets Potatoes.
